Ertugral: Bucs be warned

Johannesburg - Muhsin Ertugral says Moroka Swallows are primed to win the PSL title, considering the fact that his Golden Arrows side will be going all out for victory against Orlando Pirates.

The 2011/12 PSL campaign is heading towards an incredibly tight finish, with league leaders Buccaneers and the Dube Birds neck-and-neck as they prepare for the final round of fixtures on Saturday.

Pirates currently lead Swallows by two points, although the Birds hold a superior goal difference, meaning both sides have everything to play for in their respective season finales.

Ertugral most recently saw his Arrows side crash to a 4-1 defeat to Ajax Cape Town, but the Turkish tactician says he is not reading too much into that result, given that he had rested several of his first-team players in order to field them against the Sea Robbers on Saturday.

"We didn't use very important players (against Ajax CT) - Collins Mbesuma, Clifford Ngobeni, Elrio van Heerden, these are big names in South African football," the coach told the PSL's official website.

"We sidelined them and brought the youngsters in, but it didn't work out. But we are looking at building for next season, that's the first reason.

"The second reason is next week we are going to use the big boys, that's for sure - there will be no gifts. We don't want to be seen as the people who are giving something out."

Arrows welcome Pirates to the Moses Mabhida Stadium on the final day of the season, while Swallows make the trip to the Harry Gwala Stadium to face Maritzburg United.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
