Speaking to the clubs official website, Erasmus confesses that it was hard pill to swallow having to watch his Orlando Pirates teammates the last time they competed in Africa having missed out on registration.

“Since the final whistle of the Nedbank Cup final I have been thinking about CAF.

“I’m looking forward to the tournament (Confederations Cup) because when I signed I just missed the Champions League registration”.

“It was tough watching the guys from the side (during the Champions League) now I have an opportunity to help them out from the field.”
