Ea Lla Koto don't fear 'Downs

Cape Town - Free State Stars coach Ernst Middendorp has no trepidation ahead the club's Telkom Knockout quarter-final against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Bloemfontein-based side have been in superb form since the German boss was brought in to replace the sacked Kinnah Phiri in August.

Ea Lla Koto lost their first three games of the season, leading to Phiri's removal, but are unbeaten in the four games since appointing Middendorp, including knocking Premiership title hopefuls Bidvest Wits out of the Telkom Knockout competition on Saturday.

"It's true we have been doing well, but it's all about team work. As for the Telkom Knockout, the players will be well prepared because they know that they want to win a trophy this season," Middendorp told Soccer Laduma.

"It could be good if we can start with the Telkom Knockout, but to do that we have to win this game against Sundowns first."
