'Downs to take part in Etv tournament

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns will be involved in the Etv Charity Showdown tournament which will be played at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Tshwane on Sunday from 8:30am.

Etv managing director for channels Monde Twala said that the teams to take place in the tournament are Sundowns, Ajax Cape Town, Jomo Cosmos and the University of Pretoria.

He said that all the gate collections on the day will go towards different charities in the country.

"We are glad to announce that the tournament will be played on Sunday at Lucas Moripe Stadium and we are once again happy that teams have agreed to be part of the initiative to help the different charities through this tournament," Twala concluded.

Last year AmaZulu, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Bidvest Wits and winners Bloemfontein Celtic took part in the tournament.
