After just claiming four points in their three home matches this season, the Brazilians will to continue their quest on climbing the table in the PSL following a disappointing start.

However they come up against a strong Bidvest Wits side’ who are looking to contend for the title this season with Gavin Hunt steering them on.

Meanwhile Modise is has made it clear that building on their third successive victory (and their biggest winning margin of the season) when they defeated Polokwane City 3-0 away is all that matters.

“It is back to business this weekend. I am happy that we will be returning to what we do best. We have been training well and we have to continue building on our winning form,” said Modise on his official website.

“The team went into the international break after a good win against Polokwane City. Now we look to improve from that.”

In head-to-head stats, Sundowns and Wits have met in 57 league matches since 1985.

The Brazilians have claimed 31 wins compared to 15 for the Clever Boys, while 11 matches have been drawn.

Sundowns have won 17 of their 28 home matches against Wits, suffering just four defeats in the process.

Last season the Brazilians won their home match 2-1, while the Clever Boys claimed three points in their home fixture with a 3-1 victory.
