Sundowns rallied from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw with St Michel United in
the first leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary round clash.
St Michel claimed the league title in Seychelles' top
division last season after going unbeaten in 18 games, and they proved just why
they are their country's top side as they frustrated their much-fancied
opponents at Stade Linite on Saturday.
They had only appeared in the competition once before, as
they were knocked out at the preliminary stage of the 2011 edition of the

second leg after producing a battling performance against Pitso Mosimane's men.
Following a goalless first stanza, the home side broke the
deadlock in the 65th minute, sending the home support into wild celebrations.
