Downs keep Masenamela

Cape Town - KickOff.com website has confirmed that Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Punch Masenamela, will continue to play for the club come next season.

Masenamela is expected to sign a new three-year contract - two years straight, plus an option for an extra added year - following discussions with the player’s business manager, Jazzman Mahlakgane, and the Sundowns management.

“He is definitely staying at Sundowns,” Mahlakgane confirms.

The 27-year-old’s 2013/14 season was plagued by a knee injury and in the end, he only made three starts in the League.
