According to Soccer Laduma, the 31-year-old only featured in six games in the past two seasons for the Chloorkop club.

Since Pitso Mosimane took over the head coach role at Sundowns Sandilands slowly moved down despite playing most of the games during their 2012/13 season.

Sandilands relinquished his spot to the likes of Denis Onyango and Kennedy Mweene.

The former Platinum Stars goalkeeper was rumoured to make a switch in January with Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu having shown interested but was told to remain at the club.
