Downs duo reveal frustration

Johannesburg - Esrom Nyandoro admits that he is frustrated not to be playing a part in Mamelodi Sundowns' clash with AmaZulu.

The league-leaders face Usuthu at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday evening in their last game of 2010.

However, the Zimbabwe international will have to watch from the sidelines, due to suspension, as the Brazilians aim to extend their six point lead at the summit of the PSL table.

The Sundowns skipper told the club's official website: "Watching from the stands will be an odd experience but I have faith in our team as the squad has depth and that should see us through against Amazulu.

"As the captain you want to lead the team out for every game without fail but for tomorrow I will leave that to Matthew (Booth) and I am sure that the team will give him the same commitment and support."

Sundowns will also be without the other half of their key midfield duo with Matty Pattison also suspended for the clash. But the Bafana ace is confident his teammates can do the job.

"I believe that our team has enough depth and quality to do the job for us," he said.

"Young guys like Buhle are knocking very loudly on the door and this will give them an opportunity to stake a claim for a starting berth.

"It may be that I will lose out on a place for our first game in January as these guys are the real deal.

"But rest assured I will be at the game to support our team."
