According to KickOff, Mosimane was pleased to witness a five-goal thriller as the current Absa Premiership champions dominated the full 90 minutes.

"A very good start every coach would like to have, four goals, and good goals, and we controlled the game," said the Brazilians coach.

A goal from Alje Schut, a brace from Cuthbert Malajila and a Teko Modise strike ensured Sundowns narrow the gap between themselves and Kaizer Chiefs on the PSL standings. Sundowns loanee, Luyolo Nomandela, scored a consolation goal for Swallows as the game ended 4-1.

"Let me tell you what I liked about the second half. So many chances created. I think we could have scored more let's be honest but I liked the rush, I liked the aggression, I like the pace going out because the quick players helped us a lot.

"And we played against a good team, they showed integrity and they deserve respect, and they played well,” concluded Mosimane.
