Dolly will stay at Ajax - De Sa

Cape Town - Roger de Sa is confident that Keagan Dolly will only join Mamelodi Sundowns next season.

According to KickOff, de Sa confirms that Sundowns do want Dolly but are willing to let him stay and develop as a player.

“Obviously they want him and we know they want him, so it is just a question of time,” the former Bidvest Wits coach said.

“He might stay with us this year because they know he will be better developed with us and the kid is aware of all that. Like I said, he is very mature and he doesn't have any false or any huge expectations about things.”

De Sa jokingly said that all that the Brazilians need to buy now is the referees.

He also said that he does not foresee Dolly slotting right away into the Brazilian starting XI and reveals that the 21-year-old knows that as well.

“I don't see him playing for them at this stage and the conversation I have had with (Downs coach) Pitso (Mosimane), they want to book him now and make sure they have him.”

De Sa hopes to get the deal done as soon as possible so that Dolly can focus on the season ahead although he says Dolly is “not fazed” about the situation.
