Dlamini to miss opening match

Cape Town - AmaZulu’s defensive midfielder Thabiso Dlamini will miss the team’s first opening match of the National First Division for the 2015/16 season.

According to the club’s official website, Dlamini injured his leg last week Thursday, August 13 when the club played a friendly match.

AmaZulu’s biokineticist, Burgher van der Merwe, says that the midfielder will be ready to train by sometime next week but should not be in a hurry to get back on to the field.

“He shall be ready to train again maybe by next week, as we felt that we shouldn’t rush him,” Burgher van der Merwe confirmed.

“Alan has recovered well. We are also giving him some time to relax but, other than that all the players are fit and ready for the season,” the website was told.

Usuthu will host Witbank Spurs in their opening game on Saturday, August 22 at King Zwelithini stadium.
