Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs have announced that midfielder Josta Dladla extended his contract with the club for another year.
Chiefs' official website reports that Dladla only featured in nine league games during the 2013/14 PSL season and was used mainly as a utility player by coach Stuart Baxter.
Dladla didn’t feature in the second part of the 2013/14 season following his suspension after testing positive to banned substance, thus making him ineligible to take part in any sport from 9 Januar to 13 May.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder was suspended after testing positive for methylhexaneamine after the Soweto Derby in October last year.
Dladla’s contract extension follows the extension of the contract of another midfielder, Siyabonga Nkosi.
