Dikwena set on picking up results

Rustenburg - Platinum Stars will look to end their winless streak in the PSL when they host University of Pretoria at Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

Stars went a third match without victory when they were beaten 3-1 away to SuperSport United in their last outing.

The Rustenburg club has claimed four points from a possible nine in home matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Maritzburg United, Ajax Cape Town and Moroka Swallows (all away).

Allan Freese’s side are placed 10th on the Absa Premiership log with seven points from six matches.

Tuks also racked up a third match without a win when they were beaten 2-1 away to log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.

Steve Barker’s side claimed five points from a possible 12 in away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are SuperSport United, Bloemfontein Celtic (both home) and Maritzburg United (away).

AmaTuks are placed 14th on the Absa Premiership log with five points from six matches.

In head-to-head stats, Stars and Tuks have met in four league matches since 2012/13.

Each side has one win to their name, while two matches have ended in draws.

Stars have an unbeaten home record against Tuks, with one win and one draw from two matches. Last season each side claimed a 1-0 win in their home match against the other.

Kick-off is at 15:00 on Sunday, September 28.
