Cape Town - Platinum Stars have completed the signing of former SuperSport United and Chippa United midfielder Masibusane Zongo on a six-month deal.

Zongo has been without a permanent club since his release from the Chilli Boys in November after he entered a rehabilitation course for alcohol abuse.

However, Dikwena have now offered the playmaker a chance to revive his PSL career after snapping up his services on the eve of the January transfer deadline.

Dinaledi chairman Ratanang Nke confirmed the news, telling KickOff: "Those who watched our friendly against Polokwane City will tell you that the boy is pure class. He is quality.

"It's not only about football, but also about giving this boy another chance in life.

“We are going to monitor him, but most importantly we will give him support to make sure he realises his full potential."
