According to KickOff, Mere admits that Dikwena will be underdogs when meet at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, Novmeber 29 (Kick-off at 15:00).

"SuperSport United is a bigger team than us. We will be underdogs," Mere said.

Even more so, Dikwena have been struggling in the Absa Premiership having lost five of their nine games with two wins and two draws under their belt.

Mere has come out backing head coach Allan Freese and reveals that Stars are working hard behind the scenes to find form in the PSL.

"We can't forget about the good things that Allan Freese has done,” said Mere.

“He can't be a bad coach overnight.

“We didn't have a good start to the season. It has been a nightmare. We have been working hard."

Meanwhile, Stars host AmaZulu at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday, November 22 as the PSL resumes from the FIFA international break.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
