According to Ea Lla Koto’s website, club physiotherapist Tebogo Sethunya has three long-term injuries in his casualty room.

Daouda Diakite (Goalkeeper)

“Diakite began his rehabilitation from a serious knee injury on Thursday and he will be monitored for the next six weeks.”

Rudolf Bester (Striker)

“The 31-year-old has been out of action for two weeks due to a hamstring injury, but should be back in training next week.”

Daniel Cardoso (Defender)

“Cardoso has made good progress as he recovers from a stress fracture, and he has started training with the rest of the squad, but his return to action will not be rushed.”

Meanwhile, United prepare for a rare Cup meeting when they clash against Free State Stars in the last 16 of the Telkom Knockout on Saturday, October 4.

The game is scheduled for a 15:00 kick-off at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
