According to KickOff, United handed Chiefs their first PSL defeat of the PSL campaign and the UK coach could not understand the result after Amakhosi created so much chances.
"Well, directly after the game I'm thinking I don't know how we've lost the game really,” said Baxter.
“I thought we dominated like we've never dominated a first half against SuperSport, I don't think we've ever dominated that completely."
SuperSport took the lead in the second-half courtesy of Jeremy Brockie and Dove Wome which then move Matsatsantsa to sixth position on the PSL table.
Chiefs however remain in first spot but see their gap cut to 10 points with 10 games remaining.
Following the first goal, Baxter describes it as a “sucker punch” which he then started to ring the changes.
“We ended up playing with a lot of attacking players on the field and we created so many chances to equalise without really threatening to take one of them, and then got hit by a sucker pouch at the finish but you've got to go for it … one nil, two nil, it doesn't really matter."
