De Sa disappointed by Ajax style of play

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town coach Roger De Sa said that the team knew playing against Free State Stars was going to be difficult and went in there prepared for the challenges.

De Sa told the press conference that he was disappointed in the way Ajax played especially in the second half and felt like they should have been able to control the game from the start.

The Urban Warriors bemoaned on the goal they conceded to Maritzburg as he thought it could have been easily avoided with stronger defence.

“Look! We always knew it was going to be tough and that is what we expected,” he said.

“I thought we started okay better than last time for sure.

“We gave away a goal to them which we could have avoided easily but we had to make a way to come back.

“I thought we changed style of play in the second half and started playing in their pace which we don’t do.

“We should have controlled the game and had some really good chances but in the end we won and had our three points even though the style was disappointing."

Urban Warriors played to a 2-1 victory against Free State Stars last night, August 26 at Cape Town Stadium.
