Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates coach Roger de Sa expressed his delight for Happy Jele after the defender scored on his return against Black Leopards on Wednesday night.
According to soccerladuma website, the Sea Robbers thumped Lidoda Duvha 4-0 in a Premiership tie at Peter Mokaba Stadium, with substitute Jele scoring the fourth goal with his first touch of the game in Polokwane.
Jele, who netted with a header, was making his return from a career-threatening knee injury he sustained against De Sa's former employers Bidvest Wits a year ago.
"I'm especially delighted for Jele," said De Sa in a post-match interview.
"It's great to see him back after having a tough year and for him to get a goal with his first touch is fantastic."
Regarding his team's display, De Sa said: "We were in control. It was a good performance with some great goals. We had a lot of chances and knocked the ball around.
"I'm delighted with our depth," he added.
