De Sa: Coetzee staying at Ajax

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town coach, Roger De Sa, is adamant that Rivaldo Coetzee will remain at Ajax Cape Town as the club prepares for the start of the 2015/16 PSL season.

The Bafana Bafana defender has been linked with a move to Europe, but De Sa said the 18-year-old is remaining at Ajax and will take a leading role in their defence following the departure of veteran defenders, Dominic Isaacs and Nazeer Allie.

“Rivaldo is here with us working very hard with the rest of the squad as we prepare for the new season,” De Sa told Sport24.

“As far as I know he has a four-year contract with the club and is not going anywhere.”

The former Orlando Pirates coach said he expects the young Bafana Bafana defender to help Ajax be a competitive side in the new season.
