According to Soccer Laduma, de Sa is excited by the improvement his youthful side has made thus far.

The former Orlando Piartes coach downplays the Urban Warriors chances but admits that they have an outside chance of claiming the Absa Premiership.

“It’s a long process but there is a little bit of a change in the mindset and I think you got to portray a leadership to the rest of the players that nothing bugs you and nothing bothers you,” said de Sa.

“What really matters is when the whistle goes and we got to play 90 minutes and I think they are starting to learn that.”

“If we get that right and get our away record and improve it by 50% from last year then I think we got a chance.”

Meanwhile the Urban Warriors welcome Bidvest Wits to Athlone Stadium in their midweek PSL clash on Tuesday, August 26.

Kick-off is scheduled for 19:30.
