Cape Town - Bafana Bafana midfielder Lance Davids has completed his move to Ajax Cape Town, signing a two-year deal.
Davids, who played for SuperSport United last season, recently returned back to the country after unsuccessful trials in England.

Ajax CEO George Comitis confirmed that the Cape Town born midfielder has since committed his future in football at Ikamva this coming season.

“Lance is now officially an Ajax Cape Town player after signing with the club for two seasons. We are busy with other two signings which we will name before the end of this week,” he adds.

Meanwhile, Ajax Cape Town defender Nhlanhla Kubheka is set to appear before the club’s disciplinary committee on Tuesday on charges of bringing the club into disrepute following his interview with Radio Metro relating to his clash with coach Muhsin Ertugral at training last week.

Kubheka and Ertugral made headlines recently after a reported heated exchange during a practice match against Santos in Cape Town last week.

Comitis confirmed the DC hearing.
