According to KickOff, the scheduled date was not doable because Pirates have commitments with participating in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Sea Robbers are scheduled to face AC Leopards on the weekend of the usual Cup date which is on June 26-28.

Other than that hiccup, both Chiefs and Pirates are also involved in the King’s Cup in Swaziland.

That tournament is set to be played on July 17.

Meanwhile, the Carling Black Label Cup is the first of three guaranteed Soweto derbies throughout the PSL season and is expected to be a sold out.

It has been reported that 35 000 tickets have been sold so far.

The venue for the mouth-watering game will staged at FNB Stadium.
