Dambe first joined Platinum Stars in the 2012/13 season but only got a real opportunity to contribute to the squad during the current campaign, where he has already made 11 starting appearances in the league.
Prior to this season there had been doubts about the 24-year-old’s future at the club.
“Negotiations went well. We have agreed on everything, and we are just waiting to put pen to paper,” Dambe’s agent Paul Mitchell told goal.com.
“It's going to be a new long-term deal.
“The player is very happy to commit his future to the club,” added Mitchell.
