Confederations Cup round up

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates find themselves in the driving seat after securing a crucial away victory over A.S Kaloum in their CAF Confederations Cup tie.

The Buccaneers have one foot in the Group Stages of the 2015 CAF Confederations Cup following their impressive 2-0 first leg victory over AS Kalouma on Friday.

According to the Orlando Pirates website, goals by Thamsanqa Gabuza and Oupa Manyisa gave the Soweto Giants a huge advantage when the teams meet for the second leg in South Africa next month.

Should Pirates win their second leg encounter on June 6, they will qualify for Group B alongside the winners of the matches involving; Zamalek (Egypt) vs Sanga Balende (DRC); Asec Mimosa (Cote d’Ivoire) vs CS Sfaxien (Tunisia); and AC Leopards (Republic of Congo) vs Warri Wolves (Nigeria).

All teams including those for Group A have played their first leg matches.
