Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs coach Vladimir Vermezovic has paid tribute to Itumeleng Khune, who reached the milestone of 100 caps on Wednesday night.
The goalkeeper marked the occasion with a clean sheet in a 1-0 win over Moroka Swallows and was praised by the Serbian for being a good servant to the club.
"I would like to join the management and everyone in congratulating Khune on reaching such an important milestone in his career," said 'Vlad V'.
"Khune continues to develop as a goalkeeper. I have no doubt that there is more to come from him and I wish him all the best for the future."
The coach also warned Amakhosi not to be complacent following the victory over Swallows, which was their first home win over the Dube Birds since the 2006/2007 season.
"It is important for us to continue improving and not get carried away having registered few positive results," said Vermezovic.
"There is more work ahead of us and now we have a tricky fixture against Santos on Sunday."
