The Chilli Boys travel to Aces under a dark cloud after a string of bad results culminated with yet another coach being given the boot, Mich D’Avary this time fired after only four games in charge - two losses, one draw and win - after he replaced Ernst Middendorp.
D'Avary reportedly got the boot after the 2-0 loss to Free State Stars at the weekend, a result which made it only one win from their last 16 matches in the top flight, making it 11 coaches in the last three years to come and go at Chippa.
Moreover on being coachless, Chippa have Manti Moholo and Thamsanqa Sangweni missing through suspension as they look to keep relegation at an arm's length, although the Port Elizabeth outfit are just two points clear of 15th with two games remaining.
Aces, meanwhile, are also dealing with suspensions as Vincent Kobola and Thanduyise Khuboni miss out the clash at the Mbombela Stadium, although the team's fate is not as finely balanced as their opponents, with the Mpumalanga-based side five points clear of danger and boasting a far superior goal difference over the bottom two.
Kick-off is at 19:30 on Wednesday, May 5.
