“We are going to give Roger every tools he needs, and we also want to give him an opportunity,” said Chilli Boys team manager Peter Koutroulis

According to KickOff, Koutroulis revealed that United have received a number of CV’s for head coach post following the departure of Kosta Papic.

“It’s normal when a coach leaves that other coaches will drop their CVs, but we want to give (caretaker coach) Roger Sikhakhane a chance.”

Meanwhile Chippa United have to deal with the high flying Moroka Swallows in their upcoming PSL encounter.

In head-to-head stats, Swallows and Chippa have had just two previous top flight league meetings. Both of those encounters took place in the 2012/13 season.

The teams drew 1-1 in Soweto before the return match in Cape Town was won 2-1 by the Chilli Boys.

Kick-off is at 15:00 on Sunday, September 14.
