Chippa, SSU match postponed

Cape Town - SuperSport United have confirmed that their Absa Premiership encounter against Chippa United has been postponed.

The club said via their Facebook page that the reason for the postponement was because of the late arrival of the Bafana Bafana squad.

“The match between Chippa United vs SuperSport United has been postponed till further notice due to the late arrival of our Bafana Bafana players,” said the post.

Ronwen Williams, Clayton Daniels and Dean Furman travelled with the Bafana Bafana squad to Central America to face Costa Rica and Honduras.

SuperSport and Chippa were scheduled to play on Saturday, October 17 at 18:00.

It has been reported that Bafana Bafana will only arrived on Saturday morning in the country.

The PSL are considering postponing the rest of the Absa Premiership fixtures.
