Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs are still waiting to hear from German Bundesliga side, 1899 Hoffenheim, regarding the services of the Zimbabwean international striker Knowledge Musona.
Chiefs’ media and corporate communications manager, Vina Maphosa, confirmed to Sport24 in an exclusive interview that the German outfit are yet to confirm with Amakhosi whether they will retain their 24-year-old goal poacher or sell him to the Soweto giants permanently.
Musona’s contributions to the Phefeni Glamour Boys proved vital in the last campaign as he helped them to second spot on the log, grabbing eight league goals.
Notably, Musona’s injury towards the closing stages of the season was a major blow to Amakhosi‘s championship race which they surrendered to Mamelodi Sundowns.
It remains to be seen where Musona would be in the upcoming season.
