The PSL encounter between Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United that was scheduled to be played on April 17 has been postponed.
Following Matsatsantsa’s recent victory over Angolan side Petro de Luanda, the Absa Premiership side now see themselves through to the second round of qualifying for the CAF Confederations Cup.
SuperSport will now face Egyptian outfit ENPPI on the 20th of April, and the league has deemed it fit to postpone their game against Chiefs in order to give Gavin Hunt’s side time to fly into Egypt at prepare for their continental involvement.
It remains to be seen when the fixture will be rearranged for, however SuperSport do have a busy schedule ahead of them due to their campaigns in both the Nedbank Cup and the PSL, alongside the CAF competition.
The PSL will announce the new details for the fixture in due time.
