Chiefs v SuperSport postponed

Cape Town - The PSL clash between log-leaders Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United, that was scheduled for April 17, has been postponed.

According to the Soccer Laduma website, following SuperSport's recent victory over Angolan side Petro de Luanda, they now find themselves in the second round of qualifying for the CAF Confederations Cup where they will face Egyptian outfit ENPPI on April 20.

The league has deemed it fit to postpone their game against Chiefs in order to give Gavin Hunt’s side time to fly into Egypt at prepare for the match.

SuperSport United are currently in sixth spot in the PSL standings, some 20 points adrift of Kaizer Chiefs, but having played two fewer matches.
