Chiefs v Leopards rescheduled

Johannesburg - The Premier Soccer League have confirmed the Premiership encounter between Kaizer Chiefs and Black Leopards scheduled for April 4 will be moved forward 24 hours.

The two sides were initially set to clash at the FNB Stadium on the first Wednesday of next month, but the PSL have seen fit to move the match forward to April 3, although the venue and kick-off time of 19:30 will remain the same.

The fixture change is the second for Chiefs this week after their PSL encounter against Ajax Cape Town was postponed after the Urban Warriors were forced to replay their Nedbank Cup last-32 clash against AmaZulu.

Meanwhile, the PSL also confirmed the dates and venues for the Nedbank Cup last-16, with Chiefs set to travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium to face Leopards on Saturday 31 March, three days before their league match-up.

The last time the two sides met in Polokwane it was Amakhosi who emerged victorious, with Vladimir Vermezovic's men earning a 2-0 win over Lidoda Duvha.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
