Chiefs v Leopards called off

Johannesburg - The Absa Premiership match between Kaizer Chiefs and Black Leopards at the FNB Stadium on Saturday had to be called off because of a severe hailstorm, accompanied by lightning.

According to the PSL, a match interrupted by weather and then called-off has to be replayed from scratch. The match will be replayed at the same venue on Wednesday. Kick-off is 20:15.

When the players left the field in the 34th minute, Chiefs were leading 2-0.

The goals came from a Bernard Parker free-kick in the third minute, and Kingston Nkatha doubled the score eight minutes later with a tap-in from close range.

During the hailstorm fans ran onto the pitch, before the match was eventually called off.
