Amakhosi start the second-half of the Premiership campaign in third place and resume hostilities against Jomo Cosmos in midweek before hosting Soweto rivals Moroka Swallows on Saturday.
The Glamour Boys have been back in training since January 16, and marketing director Jessica Motaung feels the team are primed to bring the glory days back to Naturena.
"This is a new year with new energy and we aim to be taking things to the next level this second half of the season," Motaung, daughter of Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung, told the club's official website.
"The game against our rivals (Swallows) at FNB Stadium in Soweto will, without a doubt, invoke memories of some of the historic clashes between the two sides including the thrilling 5-5 draw in the 80s famously known as the 'way of life'. The operations team has been working hard and it is now all systems go.
"The club has turned 42 this year and we are quite delighted to reach this milestone. We have exciting marketing activations that are in store for the fans this year."
Meanwhile, team manager Bobby Motaung reiterated his sister's views and says the entire club are ready to hit the ground running.
"We are delighted to have finalized contracts of the players during the January transfer window," he added.
"It was our priority to make sure that we retain the squad as it is and only added young Brian Abbas Amidu.
"We have a plan and we are on track with all our plans to challenge for league honours this season. This is a belief that I share with the executive chairman Kaizer Motaung, technical team, players and everyone associated with the club."
