Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs striker Knowledge Musona is wanted by an unnamed Bundesliga side, the Premier Soccer League club have revealed.
The 21-year-old Zimbabwean international, who ended the PSL season as top goalscorer, will head to Germany for a trial.
Chiefs team manager Bobby Motaung told the club's official website: "We have received an invitation from a club in Germany interested in the services of Knowledge Musona.
"They want him to come over for an assessment and also to see if he is happy with the environment. We will engage the player on his arrival next week as he is now currently on holiday."
Motaung revealed that no offer had been made for Musona, but in light of the opportunity to further his career abroad, the club would help facilitate his move in any way they could.
He added: "There is no formal offer on the table, but if the opportunity presents itself for the player to pursue his career in Europe - we will not stand in his way.
Meanwhile, 24-year-old left-back Punch Masenamela could be on his way to Mamelodi Sundowns after Motaung revealed the Brazilians had made an offer for the player that they would consider.
He said: "Mamelodi Sundowns have tabled an offer that we have considered. The player did express an interest to us to pursue his career elsewhere. It is now between himself and Mamelodi Sundowns to agree terms. He wants a new challenge and we wish him all the best."
