Chiefs promote youth products

Cape Town – Kaizer Chiefs have opted to hand contract deals to Andisiwe Mtsila and Sibongiseni Ngcobo from their youth development structure.

The Glamour Boys held a press conference at Naturena, where they unveiled several players who the club have signed during the off-season so far.

Among the names are: Siyanda Xulu , Daniel Cardoso and Bongani Ndulula.

Football manager, Bobby Motaung, stressed that the development of players through the clubs junior ranks is a very important component of their overall philosophy as a club.

“We are very pleased to give both Sibongiseni and Andisiwe the opportunity to test themselves at the highest level after they have shown in the development ranks that they have the potential to make the grade.”

Mtsila will don the number 39 on the back of his shirt.

Ngcobo was also given the chance to showcase his talents in the first team and his squad number is 33.
