Chiefs maintained their unbeaten run to 10 league matches with a 2-1 away win over AmaZulu in their last time league fixture.

The Soweto giants have claimed 13 points from a possible 15 in home matches this season.

The Amakhosi are the runaway log leaders this season with 28 points from 10 matches.

Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns played to a third successive league draw when they were held 0-0 at home by Black Aces in their last league fixture.

The Tshwane side has claimed 10 points from five away matches this season. The Brazilians are placed fifth on the Absa Premiership log with 16 points from 10 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Chiefs and Sundowns have met in 58 league matches since 1985.

The Amakhosi have 24 wins compared to 18 for the Brazilians, while 16 matches have been drawn.

Chiefs have won 16 of their 29 home matches against Sundowns, suffering five defeats in the process.

Last season, the Amakhosi won 1-0 in Tshwane, while the Brazilians claimed revenge with a 1-0 victory in Soweto.

Kick-off is at 15:30 on Saturday, November 22.
