Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs spokesperson Vina Maphosa says the club won’t make any statements regarding the PSL and Itumeleng Khune saga.

Khune was sent off in a controversial manner against AmaZulu last week and on the evening after the match, the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper vented about his frustration regarding the official’s decision to send him off on Twitter.
According to KickOff, Maphosa insist that the letter the PSL wrote was addressed to Khune and not to the Naturena club.
“If the letter was addressed to Kaizer Chiefs then we were going to respond but now we won’t,” Maphosa.
“Obviously we've got systems in place in cases when a player is suspended.
“But we will be following the matter closely and right now we don’t want to interrupt proceedings by making statements.”
Meanwhile, Chiefs secured a 1-0 victory over the University of Pretoria courtesy of a Siphiwe Tshabalala free-kick.
The win put Chiefs 13 points clear at the top of the Absa Premiership.
