Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Doctor Khumalo reveals that the Naturena side managed to implement their plan for AmaZulu.

Khumalo was donning the technical area for Amakhosi as Stuart Baxter served his two match ban and the former Bafana Bafana midfielder said that he warned the players about AmaZulu’s high tempo game.

"Like I said before the match, it will be determined by the tactical approach, obviously they were pressing very high and I warned the players if they do that, we can not afford to build up slowly," Khumalo said as quoted by Soccer Laduma.

"We managed to play according to the plan but AmaZulu are a very structured team and I must say the coach is doing very well."

Khumalo added that he has no idea how many log points Chiefs are on but insist that their last five games are very important in order to claim PSL glory.
