Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have been drawn against Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca in the next round of the CAF Champions League.

According to Soccer Laduma, Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter believes his side deserves the opportunity to take on such a big side following their hard fought home and away victories over Township Rollers.

“They’re a very tough opposition,” said Baxter.

“If the players were a bit complacent in the first leg of this one, then they certainly won’t be in the first leg of the next game because of the name of the club and quality of the players.

“I’m sure the players will be looking forward to being the hunter and not the hunted, and it’s going to be a tricky one. It’s been tough against Rollers and I think the lads deserve to have a go at Raja.”

Chiefs surpassed Rollers 3-1 on aggregate while Raja handed Diables Noirs a 6-2 drubbing.

The first leg is set to take place on the weekend of March 13-15. The venue and time is yet to be announced.
