Chiefs eye PSL clean sweep

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs general manager Bobby Motaung has targeted toppling Orlando Pirates and making a clean sweep of all titles this season.

Chiefs have already overcome the first hurdle of the new campaign, turning around a 1-0 deficit to eventually see off Bidvest Wits 2-1 in the quarter-final of the MTN8 on Sunday.

And with the start of the new Premier Soccer League season just a few days away, Motaung is hoping to make Amakhosi's intentions clear.

"As I have said before, our aim is to win everything, with all the PSL titles remaining in Soweto but coming to Naturena this time round," he told The Sowetan.

Chiefs begin the league campaign at home to newly promoted PSL outfit Jomo Cosmos at the FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
