'Chiefs don't have strikers'

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs travel to the Bidvest Stadium this weekend where they will face Bidvest Wits, in what former Kaizer Chiefs striker Pollen Ndlanya is labeling a "must-win" game for the Amakhosi.

However, in order to do this, the Amakhosi will need to score goals, and this is where Ndlanya feels Chiefs have a problem.

“They don’t have any quality strikers. Nkosinathi Nhleko is big and strong, but he missed an open chance on Wednesday. As a striker you should only need one chance. If you score, it could swing the momentum and change the complexion of the game.

“Yet Nhleko and Abia Nale both wasted very good chances to put the ball in the back of the net, and to make matters worse their Zimbabwean teenager Knowledge Musona is out injured, and he looked the best of all their strikers.”

“I think their game against Wits they must win, no two ways about it. It will be an interesting match, as Wits have a young pacy team, but I hope Kaizer Chiefs bounce back. They must recover following their loss on Wednesday night. This game is the turning point for them.”
