The date for the pre-season match was confirmed on Monday, which will see the Premiership rivals lock horns for a fifth time in the competition.

“I was happy to be voted in the starting line-up in my first season at Kaizer Chiefs,” Mashamaite said.

“It’s an opportunity for us to please the supporters who vote for us. It’s a fun day for the supporters.”

The Buccaneers, who won 6-5 on penalties in 2014, have claimed the trophy on three occasions while Chiefs have a solitary cup success, which came in 2013.

Fans of the two clubs will be able to vote for the players they want to see in the starting line-ups.

The event will also see the consumer coach make one substitution of his own, in the second-half of the encounter.
