Chiefs: Nale's going nowhere

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs have dismissed rumours claiming Abia Nale is on the verge of securing a move away from the club.

A weekend report claimed the midfielder could be loaned to another PSL team or sold outright.

However, Amakhosi's football manager Bobby Motaung insists there is no truth to the rumours and added that Nale is very much in Vladimir Vermezovic's plans for the rest of the season.

"Nale is not going anywhere and he is not on transfer and we have never even discussed that," he said.

"There is definitely nothing there and we don't know where that comes from. Nale is part of the coach's plans and also we don't know anything about Gerald Sibeko moving on... as for Nkosinathi Nhleko we are waiting for the outcome of his trip to Turkey.

"We will hear from the player and the agent what happened. We are expecting Nhleko to return to the team this week."

Motaung added that Chiefs will definitely not be signing any new players during this transfer window and that Stanton Lewis is only on loan.

He added: "We are not buying any players. I will repeat again; we have not bought any player.

"We only have Stanton Lewis on loan and the coach will make the final call when the loan deal expires. We have promoted Lucky Baloyi, who had in fact been promoted with some youngsters at the beginning of the season and then we loaned them to Soweto Panthers (a Vodacom League team).

"He is returning to join us in defence... but we will not be signing any new players," Motaung concluded.
