Bloemfontein - Bloemfontein Celtic head coach Clinton Larsen believes his charges are capable of finishing inside the top four at the end of the 2014/15 Absa Premiership campaign.
Phunya Sele Sele are currently in sixth spot on the log with only seven games remaining.
The Durban-born mentor has insisted that Celtic intend to make history for themselves by finishing fourth for the very first time in their history.
“Our target is always about finishing fourth in the league,” Larsen told Sport24 in an exclusive interview on Thursday.
“We have never finished inside the top four in our club history.
“So that is our main target for now as team.
“It won’t be easy I know that but we have enough quality players in the team to help us achieve that.
“We are going to fight and work hard to reach this goal.”
Celtic will face the University of Pretoria in a league clash at Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium on Sunday, and the 44-year-old tactician believes that their strong wing play will be the secret weapon to victory.
“We always make good preparations before every game we play.
“Things might seem to be going well for us in the league but we are taking it one game at a time.
“Now we have a tough one against Tuks and they are a different team and always play a direct football.
“They also have good players in their team but to overcome them we have to make use of our strong wing play.
“By doing so we can be able to create enough chances to score goals.”
Heading to this encounter Celtic are coming off a 1-0 loss to Ajax Cape Town in the Last 16 of the Nedbank Cup while AmaTuks are coming off a 2-0 league defeat to neighbours SuperSport United.
Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00.
