Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic coach Clinton Larsen insists that his side is motivated by the loyalty show by the club's supporters.
Larsen, told the club’s website that they have done their homework and know the weaknesses of Mamelodi Sundowns, whom Phunya Sele Sele face in a MTN8 clash.
"We are equally ready to fight and ultimately win the trophy for our loyal supporters," said Larsen.
"Our current squad is full of quality players and they all want to win the trophy.
"Sundowns are a quality side but our hunger and determination will see us through. Our players are yearning for glory.
"We have done our home work, studying their weakness while trying to improve on our strengths."
The Free State side's mentor also said that despite Mhango and Wana’s injuries they have a clean bill of health and everyone is good to go.
“Except for Gabadinho Mhango and Vuyisile Wana who are out of injuries, we have a clean bill of health and everyone is raring to go.”
“I must concede though, it takes time for the players to gel but we are steadily getting there.”
Celtic will meet Mamelodi Sundowns at the Loftus Stadium on Wednesday, August 5 for the MTN8 quarterfinals.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
