Bloemfontein - Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder Keagan Buchanan is back in training after spending five months on the sidelines due to a knee injury he suffered towards the closing stages of last season.
The 23-year-old midfielder sustained the injury in Celtic's Nedbank cup encounter against Wits in April and was ruled out for six months.
Phunya Sele Sele spokesperson Sello Nduna confirmed to Sport24 in an exclusive interview that the former SuperSport United player is slowly making his way back to full fitness.
"There are no injury cases at the moment," Nduna told Sport24.
"I can also confirm that (Keagan) Buchanan is back in training since last week.
"He is slowly but surely making his way back to the field of play.
"He is not yet ready to play competitive football yet, but he is doing light training with the rest of the squad."
Buchanan made 17 appearances for the Free State based side last season.
