Celtic ecstatic by support

Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic chairman Max Tshabalala said that winning against Orlando Pirates made them proud but the support from the Cheetahs family was extraordinary.

Tshabalala told Celtic’s official website that jubilation was overwhelming and the players from both teams celebrated with a wild passion.

“Winning against Pirates has obviously made us proud but the victory was sweeter when we witnessed such extraordinary support from the Cheetahs family.

“We were overwhelmed by the jubilation and how players from both teams wildly celebrated with such passion.”

“We have the integrity of the Province to protect; the bond between these two institutions resembles that of ‘Ubuntu’.

“The reception by our supporters towards Cheetahs was amazing… it was a phenomenal atmosphere that was fulfilling.

“We once again give thanks to the management of the Cheetahs for the support.”

Phunya Sele Sele beat Pirates 1-0 last night, August 26.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
