Celtic, FS Stars off to Lesotho

Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic and Free State Stars will take their pre-season to the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho where they are expected to play several friendly games.

Ea Lla Koto public relations officer, Lebohang Maketa, confirmed the club’s trip to Lesotho where they will play against three teams, namely Bantu, Matlama and LCS at Leshoboro Stadium in Mafeteng.

“Indeed, we will go down to Lesotho for a number of friendly matches between July 25 to 27,” Maketa said.

“We will take a big squad to the Kingdom including players who are on trials at the club.”

Meanwhile, Celtic will play against the King XI to be selected from players’ playing in the Lesotho premier league as part of King Letsie III’s 52nd birthday.

The match will take place at Setsoto stadium on July 19.

The two Free State teams are currently holding their pre-season in Johannesburg.
